Reproduce statements in another language for unique listening or reading audience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken or written language to another.
Handles international personnel needs for relocation to US.
Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion.
Relay concepts and ideas between languages.
Convert written materials from one language into another, such as books, publications, or web pages.
Create a new text in the target language that reproduces the content and style of the original.
Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language.
Receive and submit assignments electronically.
Use dictionaries and glossaries for reference.
Facilitate communication for people with limited English proficiency.
Interpret both legal terminology and colloquial language.
Read aloud documents in a language other than that in which they were written.
Accompany foreign visitor and facilitate communication between receiving party and visitors.
Adapt a product or service for use in a different language and culture.
Assist with TRJ Internal audit.
Other duties as assigned SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Strong computer skills including Windows operating system, word processors, and spreadsheets.
Excellent verbal and communications skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for eight hours, talk and hear.
