DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Involves material handling, processing, inspection and other support duties in conjunction with departmental operations. This is a basic entry level position. Assigned duties and equipment within this assignment may vary dependent upon departmental requirements, procedures, and work instructions. Generally this type of position involves some varying physical requirements involving lifting, reaching, bending, stooping. This position generally involves working and sitting at a work station. Specific assignments may involve basic inspection, loading, re-inspection, rework and relief operations of a repetitive nature.
This is a 2nd shift position that is open only to any qualified candidates.
Anticipated start date is January 19th.
REQUIREMENTS:
This job classification requires aptitude as demonstrated by previous experience and relevant training or as show by demonstration of ability for training through appropriate testing.
Educational requirements are to have a high school diploma or GED. (Individuals employed before January 2000 are grandfathered on this requirement.
Individuals must have:
1. Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, correspondence and memorandums.
2. Ability to write simple clear correspondence.
3. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members, customers, and other employees of the company.
4. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
5. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret SPC graphs and bar charts.
